VIDEO - Ellis talks up Team Derby hopes for Finals Day
GB badminton star Andy Ellis is eager for Team Derby to keep up their winning form as they prepare for a four-way tussle for the Championship title on Finals Day at K2 Crawley on 7 June.
Derby have won their last two fixtures to bounce back well from a 5-0 whitewash at the hands of Surrey Smashers in December.
Now they head south to Sussex with genuine hopes of becoming the first ever National Badminton League champions. That recent run of good form included a 4-1 beating of University of Nottingham Badminton which sets it up nicely for a Finals Day Play-Off which sees the two local arch rivals go head to head again for the right to contest the title.
Ellis, one of the experienced heads in Donna Kellogg's squad, insists they will be going all out to write their names in the record books and wants a big crowd to see them do it.
